The Mirror of Popular Music

Using songs to engage in meaningful conversations around important topics such as gender-based violence, race, and mental health.

This presentation will explore how popular music can be a catalyst for communities to engage in challenging conversations such as gender-based violence, race, and mental health. Participants will walk away with a greater understanding of the reflective and prophetic nature of popular music as well as tools to continue these conversations in their churches, families, and youth groups.
